Justice Betrayed

Justice Betrayed

My new novel, Justice Betrayed, is finally complete.  After going through multiple revisions, beta readers and even more revisions, I’m finally calling it done.  It’s being offered to agents now.

The heart of Justice Betrayed is the love story between Lee Chase, a detective  with the Columbus Police Department, and Harry Finch a man who, in the pursuit of justice, becomes a murderer.

After screwing up too many times, Lee is given a last chance: solve a seemingly random murder with no motives, no suspects, and no clues, or lose her detective’s badge.  She interviews and rejects widower Harry Finch, an upstanding citizen she can’t believe would murder anyone.

She’s wrong.

Harry is a murderer searching for justice. Justice for his son, and justice for anyone who has been betrayed. But Harry’s version of justice is quickly making him the most prolific serial killer Columbus has ever seen.

The bodies pile up.  Harry and Lee begin to fall in love.  A street gang is trying to murder Lee.  It all comes together in a final showdown that forces Lee to confront not only the gang that wants her dead, but Harry. Not the Harry she loves, but Harry, the murderer.
